Pet & Symptoms

Dog and Cat

High body temperature in pets above 102oF is a primary sign of acute illness. It is the body’s way of adjusting or responding to the abnormality or imbalance in the normal body physiology. When observed, call a veterinarian for immediate attention.

Horse

Lameness in horses is common. This has been attributed to the morphology of their toes/feet. Regular grooming and care of the horse need to be maintained to avoid lameness, especially in horses used for games.

Rabbit

Cases of poisoning in rabbits vary. Symptoms are similar to those observed in most other animals like rolling on the ground, and incoordination. Some plants may be a cause of poison in rabbit and such should be avoided.
